THURSDAY’S 13: Parts is parts—and these parts is body parts!

Easy as A, B, C . . . from BB

From funny facts to fantasmic (though, hopefully, out-dated) laws:

  1. Your body is creating and killing 15 million red blood cells per second!
  2. The king of hearts is the only king without a moustache on a standard playing card!
  3. Your ribs move about 5 million times a year, every time you breathe!
  4. A person uses approximately fifty‑seven sheets of toilet paper each day!
  5. Fingernails grow nearly 4 times faster than toenails!
  6. Humans blink over 10,000,000 times a year!
  7. A fetus develops fingerprints at eighteen weeks
  8. Most dust particles in your house are made from dead skin!
  9. A sneeze travels out your mouth at over 100 m.p.h.!
  10. Tablecloths were originally meant to be served as towels with which dinner guests could wipe their hands and faces after eating!
  11. A toothpick is the object most often choked on by Americans!
  12. In New York, it is against the law for a blind person to drive an automobile.
  13. In Georgia, it is against the law to slap a man on the back or front.

See you day-after-tomorrow on Saturday’s Softcover!

  1. Loved your fun facts. So how many blind people were driving in New York before they passed the law? :/ Makes one wonder.

Wonder . . . at least, Kathi! I keep wondering about all kinds of laws and “rules” and “company policies.” What in heaven’s name were people doing that made OTHER people make these up as a protection?!!
